A Baptist church making a difference.

New Auburn Seventh Day Baptist Church is a member of the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference of the United States and Canada. Seventh Day Baptists are evangelical Baptists who hold to keeping the seventh day Sabbath of the Bible as sacred time. We believe in solid biblical bible teaching, healing and in the working of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Our Pastors Are:

  • Senior Pastor: Pastor Wayne North
  • Associate Pastor: Pastor Ben Parrish
  • Youth Pastor: Pastor John Farrell III

Our Church:
We begin our Sabbath mornings with members meeting for Sabbath school at 9:30 am for all age groups, with the service beginning at 10:40 am with Announcements and Praise and Worship.

Saturday evenings bring us together for Consuming Fire Services or Next Step services. Consuming Fire Services begin with Praise and Worship, continuing through the prompting and leading of the Holy Spirit, we pray in intercession for others, our community or nation, or for anyone who needs prayer for deliverance, healing, strength or direction as the Spirit leads. We have a great and blessed time, we never know what the Spirit is going to do when we get together worship God!

Next Step (during the school year) is a service geared towards teaching the youth of the church, whereas Consuming Fire is for everyone.

Our church has a very active Youth Fellowship, Kings Kids ministry, Young Adult ministry, Iron Men ministry, Healing and Deliverance Ministry, Prayer ministry, Mighty Warriors men's ministry, Women's Society, Acts of Kindness ministry and Music Ministry. We have something for everyone.

This past June of 2008, 10 members of the church took a missions trip to Jamicia, to minister and help our sister churchs there. All were blessed, and asking us to return. We plan on returning in March of 2010. Check out more Jamaica pictures here.

Kids go to camp in Milton, WI, and to Precon and to the Seventh Day Baptist Conference which is in Lancaster, PA.
We will be continuing Acts of Kindness, it is a form of servant evangelism to our area. Last year we did a number of brat cookouts for people living in New Auburn. The Women's Society gave out flowers for Mother's Day. We plan to do more of these Acts of Kindness, of showing the Love of Christ to our neighbors.

We are planning on continuing our Youth Fellowship throughout the summer.  Our children's weekly program will also continue. We will be expanding our Bible studies this summer so contact us for the dates, times and topics. We will be holding baptisms. Community outreaches and evangelism will be evident in our area. An example of this would be our praise and worship float during Jamboree Days and the Acts of Kindness.

We are in the process of planning Freedom Ministry Youth and Young Adult Retreats in the early fall. Also, will be participating in the next Set Apart Conference in August. Developing leaders with vision and dreams by discipling them with spiritual mentors is our passion and purpose.

Due to the great response of God's miracles and power, we are already planning the next Water of Life Revival Crusade in the area. More people need to experience the power of God's love through healing, deliverance, prophecy, etc. This experience should be occuring everyday, and not just on special occassions. These are just the tip of the iceberg of future ministries coming up. Stay tuned for more information.

One of our goals is increasing the passion for prayer in our community. We currently have

Community Prayer Service on Tuesday evening at 7PM. Yet, people in our community of churches is similar to those around the nation. Most are to busy for corporate prayer. Shame on us then.  We will press onward destroying the gates of Hades and emphasizing how Jesus Christ has destroyed the works of the devil.

We will continue to grow our Saturday evening service - Consuming Fire Ministry. We have seen great growth and need for an alternative style service in our area. God's power and miracles are abundant. This coordinates with our Sabbath (saturday) Morning Service which gives alot of freedom for growth and worship to occur between multiple generations of people from all different backgrounds. We have numerous worship bands with talents ranging from bluegrass to contemporary pop/rock styles of Christian music. Come and join us! get involved in using your giftings from God. Jesus christ wants to rock your world!!!

We also hope to expand our building either by adding on, buillding across the road or by purchasing a larger building in the area. Time is short, we must increase our effectiveness of presenting the Gospel with its life-changing power. The message must go out and be eternally true with a 21st century application.

Our prayer must be, "Lord send me!"

Please pray with us in these endeavors of bringing His Kingdom down, His Will to be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
